Catherine Rosbotham - Soprano

When did you join BCGC? I joined the Choir at the very start in 2009
What's your favourite BCGC song? My favourite song is constantly changing with our expanding repertoire, but I never tire of singing the very first song we learnt - Something Inside So Strong
What's your favourite BCGC moment (so far!)? There has been so many memorable moments it is hard to choose but I vividly remember our very first gig only 5 months after being formed, in May Street Presbyterian Church, with lots of friends and family present I experienced the sheer joy and sheer terror of performing all at once, what a buzz! NYC trip in 2014 must also get a mention, a time of such joy and emotion, a shared journey where friendships in the choir were strengthened and deepened, a truly unforgettable experience with memories I will treasure forever.
What's been your favourite BCGC gig? I loved the gigs in the Titanic Centre, singing at the official opening and on the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
What song would you love BCGC to include in their set? "He's Everything" written by Dolly Parton and from the soundtrack of the film "Joyful Noise" because it has in it the line "So let us sing and raise our voice, Let us make a joyful noise" and I think this encapsulates how I feel about BCGC
Why should I come and see BCGC in action? To hear us make a joyful noise! Why else??
